I'm an independent documentary photographer and photojournalist working and living in Arizona. I was born in Huddersfield, U.K. and was raised in Zionsville, Indiana before receiving my B.A. in Journalism at Indiana University in Bloomington and studying Korean Language at Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea.
After undergrad, I interned with The Dubois County Herald in Jasper, Ind. in 2014 and then went back to Seoul to work on a project with young North Korean women seeking refuge and building a new life in South Korea. That project became I Am A Tiger and was featured on TIME LightBox. I've been working based in Phoenix, Arizona since 2015.
Recently, I've contributed photojournalism to The New York Times, The Washington Post, ESPN and The Wall Street Journal.
